Imagine.... snow laden trees, welcome mats out, the soft glow of lights, wreaths at the windows, and charming buildings along with families out and about on a snowy December night... This, is the tradition of the Department 56 Village Collections. Every piece is individually painted and each window hand cut.  Cast into the mold is the logo of Dept 56 and each year certain pieces are retired from production and the molds broken.  This limits the number of pieces and allows for new additions as the tradition continues...
